sunbeds after giving birth?
i used sunbeds before i got pregnant for about 8 months then stopped as soon as i found out i was pregnant but i want to go back on them after i give birth is it safe , how long do i have to wait to use them after birth and will it effect breastfeeding ?

A sun bed won’t effect breastfeeding but you’d want to add extra protection to that area to avoid bunting as sunburn could make bf very painful. You wouldn’t want to go on them with any open wounds so I imagine if you had a c section you’d want to delay until healed.
But as someone who has lost people to melanoma please reconsider the sun bed for your baby/family. Sending love.
Your skin may be more sensitive and prone to burning, but there’s no added risk to baby or your milk.
