Baby gaviscon

My little girl was prescribed baby gaviscon yesterday for symptoms of reflux.

It says I should only give her two sachets per day if she is over 4.5kg ( which she is )

1.When do you give your baby these?

2.Also how long does it take to see a difference?

3.My baby isn’t projectile vomiting she has silent reflux so I am wondering when we will start to see her more settled with her trapped gas and hiccups etc??

I do two lots per day and I go for morning feed and bedtime feed so they are spaced out! My LO had silent reflux and within a couple days we saw a difference!

I am confused but I think it’s just baby brain 😂! It says 1 sachet for under 4.5kg and 2 sachets for over 4.5kg , does that mean if your baby is under 4.5kg then it’s only one sachet one time per day or only one sachet at night then one in morning?? Then obvcourse if it was two sachets is that two added to the milk twice per day? Hope this makes sense 😂🙈

Has anyone had any side effects with the gavuscon? I'm pretty sure my LO has reflux and I was wondering is there hope or does it come at a cost (i.e constipation)

Did the label on the box when you picked it up from the pharmacy have the dosage prescribed by dr on? As my dr prescribed half a sachet in a bottle, 4 times a day. Which is 2 sachets a day in total. But he told me to do that!

However I was worried about constipation so I do half a sachet only twice a day!

I just halved the prescribed dose to avoid constipation and so far it’s worked for her reflux and she still goes everyday!

My doctor just prescribed one dose didn’t mention how many times per day! I just called the pharmacy and they said you can give up to 6 times per day either the one or two watchers depending on weight, I am just going to do the one sachet in the morning and the one at night to avoid constipation! Did you LO have issues with trapped gas along with the silent relic symptoms? Did the gaviscon help with this if they did?

Yep my little girl was so gassy and had such trouble getting it out! She’s so much better now and brings burps up herself and farts all the time 😂

To shave or not to shave

What is everyone planning or done in the past when it comes to shaving downstairs for labour and delivery. And if it’s not shaven when waters have broken has anyone stopped to shave or planning on doing it. Just wondering…

Would you help?

Question inspired by some recent polls seen here; would you help a little girl in the bathroom if her dad asked you to?
If approached by a dad alone with his daughter would you help the little girl in the bathroom with wiping/hand washing if asked? Why or why not?

Anybody know where I can get decent bras?!

Anyone know anywhere I can get bras where the bit joining the cup isn't a bit of dental floss😂
I like fuller cups with the middle bit being higher up the cups to hold it together. Also light padding and not fussed whether it has wire or not, but I'm really struggling to find bras after stopping breastfeeding. 😔
