How to raise good hearted humans

Hey mamas.

Was just curious if it’s possible to raise your child(ren) to be the best version of themselves by certain actions we use as parents?

For instance, my mom and I have NEVER been eye to eye. She’s done what she could to be keep me alive, but how much could expect from a child (herself) raising a child?

Also, as I was growing up, I promised myself to never have kids as I feared of having them resent me. And now here I am, having children young; unintentionally repeating history.

My mother is extremely verbally abusive, but I’ve told myself to never shout at my children. And I haven’t, I’ve had a stern voice sure. But I’ve never emotionally or mentally attacked them.

So I was wondering if anyone has gone through the same and if it’s possible to raise good tiny humans even if you never came from a healthy environment yourself?

Just, food for thought.

Ovulation test

Please please someone clarify if this test is positive. Im pretty sure it is but Im in disbelief at the minute I haven’t ovulated in 8 months. I feel like crying lol. When is the best time to have sex?

When did you get a strong positive?

Tested last Friday got a positive faint did a digital said 1-2 weeks which would be about right 4 weeks at the time. Did another this morning still faint…. Slightly worried about it being chemical if it isn’t getting darker. Should I be using all the same type tests?

Can baby mamas be friends?

My son has an older brother from his biodad. Biodad has never had contact with my son. One thing lead to another though and the other child's mother and I got in contact and are planning a meeting for the boys. Biodad has no idea any of this has happened. Biodad also hasnt had contact with the other child in about 2 years. Just thoughts, opinions, anyone been through something similar?

Ovulation test

I know this group is for pregnancy test but just want to double check this ovulation test is positive. I haven’t had a positive ovulation test in months and months I think Im gonna cry. When is best to have sex after a positive ovulation test and how likely is it to get pregnant?

Any ideas what’s happening with my temp?

Thought I had ovulated but now I’m not so sure, I didn’t record my temp on a couple of days because I’ve been unwell with a fever so it was a lot higher than it should of been

Positive test?

Do yall see it? There’s the original and another one that I added sharpness to and stuff to see the faint liner more better. I took more and they came out negative. So I’m so confused. Also that line didn’t appear immediately I noticed it like the next day.
