Please help from a rubbish cook - I make my little girl banana pancakes (just banana, egg and flour) but she only ever eats 1. The batch makes around 6 pancakes and I always feel like it’s such a waste throwing them away.
Does anyone know if it would be ok to keep the rest in a container in the fridge? And how long can I keep them in there for? How would you reheat them also the next day?

I’d said 3 days in the fridge. And 3-4 months in a freezer. Reheating I’d let them defrost and you could put them in the toaster for a couple of minutes or fry them until piping hot x
thank you! I always get so worried that I’m going to make her ill by giving her leftovers so I’ve never done it before, but it feels like such a waste of food, especially in the current climate! Thanks 🙏🏻 x

I know what you mean! I’m the same, I only make a small patch enough for 1 or freeze it❤️

Yeah you can definitely keep it in the fridge and freezer like Olivia said, but with the freezer I would only keep it for 3 months, and that goes for any kind of foods x

Same time frame as above. My little boy would eat the cold the next day

I use to work in a kitchen, any good you make can last 3 day in the fridge as long as it is covered and it can last 3month in the freezer x

I’d just pop them straight in the freezer once they’ve cooled down then just take one as and when you need and pop in the microwave/air fryer. I do this with loads of stuff so it means I’ve got quick options in the freezer when I need them and no waste 😊
