Postpartum needs?

Sooo I think I’m finally done purchasing most of the stuff I need for the baby! I’m only needing to buy a few small things. Now what the heck do I need for myself? I don’t have anything. I don’t even have clothes that will fit because I just moved across the country and got rid of most of my clothes except some dresses I’ve been able to wear during pregnancy. I’m going to get a peri bottle cooling pads. Has anyone used period underwear postpartum or is it better to just get some disposable underwear/diapers? I have nooo idea what I’m gonna need! Please comment what you all are getting for your recovery!

It’s so easy to focus on baby and forget that I’m going to need some extra care as well😅

Honestly I used the disposable ones while I was in the hospital. By the time I got home I was able to wear regular underwear ( larger ones I had been wearing towards the end ) with the huge pads. It’s good to buy some just in case. Make sure you have witch hazel at home - without alcohol. Plenty of food for yourself. Comfortable clothes, boobie pads cause your breast will be leaking. Ice packs. Pain reliever.

I loved the adult underwear for after birth! They were comfy and useful! Then a belly band is good to use after pregnancy too as well as a certain spray they gave me for down there after birth it’s like this medicated relief spray

did you use the belly band while pregnant too? I’ve been thinking about getting one to help some of the pressure on my pelvis. Baby feels sooo heavy now and I’m wondering if I should just get it now

or are you talking about a different kind of postpartum belly band?
