Any tips on transitioning my two year old into a toddler bed? Do you use a monitor that covers the whole room? How did you baby proof electronics? (IE a fan?) or do I remove that?
I need some advice!

We have one monitor that just goes on his bed because it can’t move that well. Everything is out of his room except a book shelf his bed and dresser. We put plug covers on all outlets except for where his portable sound machine is plugged in and behind the dresser where the night sound machine and monitor are at

My son is still in the crib but liked teaching for the light switches, so I got child switch covers

We have a monitor that can move around and show all parts of the room. We’re lucky though, he crawls in on his own when it’s time for naps/bedtime and doesn’t get out until we say it’s time. I wish I could tell you how/why he is so good about it, but I have no clue

My daughter was great about transitioning when she turned 18-20 months, first few nights were rough because the crib was in the room still since I was having another baby and she kept wanting to go in the crib. After about 2/3 nights she did great. I had a monitor on her bed that I eas able to move around if she got out of bed without me seeing. My son was about 16 months when we moved him, he had a rough time. He kept getting out of the toddler bed and coming to the livingroom which he thought was hilarious. We got a plastic baby gate that went all around his bed, took him about 2 weeks t finally fall asleep in his bed, he would always fall asleep on the floor between the bed and gate. He had the gate around his bed for about 6 months before I took it out.
I would use plug covers and take the fan out for awhile, anything you don’t want him into- take out or hide
