Baby Shower Registry Gifts

I had 2 showers, on one people barely got anything on the registry and just brought diapers and wipes, which is what we definitively needed. For the other one, people mainly got things from the registry and they didn’t buy it until the week of, literally the day before the shower, lol

Mine is the 23rd and only one person brought something from it I’m not worried it’s what I expected anyway I like what I like and will by my baby stuff myself with the help of some others 🤷🏽‍♀️ I guess this is why people don’t do baby showers

Is your registry through Amazon? My shower is the 16th and people are just now starting to buy I feel like. I think because pretty much everything is on prime and 2 day shipping so no one is worried about getting things in time for the shower.

I just had one person tell me they wanna give me hand-me-downs of clothing. I mean, I appreciate anything. But this is my first and I'm excited about the stuff I picked out...because I wanna see him in THOSE outfits. I said yes to the outfits. Then she offered other stuff and that's when I said I'm excited about what I've picked out and would rather wait to see what I get and if I don't get, to purchase myself. I dunno, maybe I'm being sensitive, but I picked stuff out for a reason. I don't wanna say yes to her stuff and then end up not getting what I wanted for him.

Most people buy a lot closer to the shower date!

People have been buying stuff since I created months ago and getting the items sent directly to our house.

I’ve been freaking out too mine is on the 16th. Only a couple of people have bought mostly those who aren’t coming. Still need every must have! Hopefully because of prime they are just waiting.

I had my babyshower in late July and a lot of people who attended did not use the registry lol. Most who didn't attend used the registry and some people sent me gifts after the babyshower (I had mine in a different state)
I did also receive a lot of cards with gift cards/cash, it just depends on how your guests like to give.
I'm sure you'll have a beautiful shower and your guests will show up with lots of gifts/love for your little love.

People didn't buy for mine until the week of the baby shower and some bought afterwards or the day of. Many people just brought diapers and wipes as well.
