I’m 4 weeks post partum and have this stomach bulge … any ideas on how to reduce this

Be kind to your body you just birthed a whole human. The standard for complete healing of only certain parts is 6 weeks and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Embrace your body. The only thing to “fix” it is time and consistency with appropriate physical activity and healthy choices. I’m 4 months pp and I am no where near to what I used to be. I am harsh on myself as I’m not completely comfortable in my skin but it’s normal and I’m trying to make conscious healthy efforts ❤️

My dr recommended me to be bandaged and wearing a belly band for 3 weeks to reduce inflammation after that, everything should start slowly going back to your new normal. I waited a year to start working out. Remember that a lot of things grew, especially your skin, so, a lot of that is always going to be there from now on… unless you go for surgery. If it helps I think you look great 😁

I’m mostly lying down while feeding and rest hve a studio so don’t walk much so when do I wear a belly band ??

I used to wear it almost all day, except when sleeping, and eating because it was uncomfortable then

what about feeding while lying down on bed ?

I think is probably fine

Give yourself some time and kindness and patience. They say breastfeeding helps. I lost the first month 15 kg and now slowly with a diet 2kg per week. If you want I can suggest you a personal trainer that can set up a program for you (he was following me during pregnancy and even now). But at this stage I think you should rest is very early to think at these things !

to me they forbidden this at the hospital… I think it depends if you had a c section or not but those belt never worked for me

It takes up to a year for your organs to move back into place.
4 weeks ago your intestines were in your chest cavity.
After a few months you will see your waist start to reset and your tone come back in x
