Help for a baby cold!

So my 5 month old little boy has had a chesty cough today and his nose has been a constant snot stream. However, his past few naps he has been excessively sweating.. the room isn’t warm and he is just in a baby grow. Is this normal?… I spoke with the doctor who said “it’s just a cold” but I’m not sure

My baby gets this when she eats in the evening, her head leaves a patch of sweat on the pillow, no matter if she has a cold or not.
I agree with the 111 call. Also have you taken the baby’s temperature? Maybe he’s got a fever?
