Induced

Getting induced tomorrow at 1:30 in the afternoon was wondering if it’s best for birthing partner to stay at home or come with me for the first night ?

Definitely have your partner there

Silly question, what do you wear when you get induced? I’m possibly getting induced at 37 weeks (couple of weeks) and wasn’t sure! Lol

I wore a nightie with buttons and nesh pants with maternity pads as you bleed but you don’t have to wear anything on your bottoms

I’m 39 weeks scared this is going to be a really long process

I would suggest having your partner come. If they are inducing you 9 times out of 10 something will be given to you to start making you dilate and/or contract. For all you know everything can work on your body quickly and you could have your baby within hours. Also depending on if your getting an epidural the support of your spouse when and if the pain kicks in will be helpful plus it can get boring being there alone lol.

I would have them come initially then go home if not much is happening, he can always come back! I was in for 3 days before anything happened with my first and I wish he had reserved a bit more energy by staying at home when nothing was going on. Xx

I had an induction with my son and a woman came in the same time as me for her induction. The pessary worked straight away for her. Hopefully you won’t be waiting too long x

Is this normal?

Is this little red bit on my section scar normal? It’s not oozing anything, doesn’t hurt but it’s the only bit on my scar like it so just curious! (19 days PP)
Thank you in advance! 🥰

Anyone else felt like this?

Hi, I’m 4 months postpartum, little one sleeps through the night and is formula fed, the last week I’ve felt extremely tired and very hungry! Just wondered if anyone else has felt this way/experienced this?

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?
