I’ve been grabbing things off vinted for a couple weeks😅 I’m 17 weeks today.
I did buy things before I got pregnant as it’s our rainbow baby, bought some things to tell my partner & then already bought things to take to hospital too😅

I’m also 17+2 and I’ve already bought a fair few clothes! I think once you’ve found out gender (if you have) it’s not too early🥰

I’m waiting until November as I’m nearly 19 weeks. I’ve saved the money and researched big purchases. I’m just being cautious but I think if you’re ready, go for it.

I've got little bits like a changing mat, nappy caddy and some clothes, but not buying big furniture til 25 weeks

Thanks all I have bought some clothes and I got some bottles yesterday a set but cot and that will wait nearer the time I know what I want so that’s good 😊

I started from 12 weeks x

I’ve been collecting furniture and other bits for a while, also now buying some baby girl clothes since I found out the gender and I’m about to turn 15 weeks. Do what’s best for you :)

As soon as I found out gender I started getting clothes as loads been in the sale, so very helpful I still have slot of stuff I kept from my little boy like bottles and stuff so just going to reuse it and same with furniture I think the only thing I need is a bouncer and somewhere for her to sleep downstairs xx

As long as all of your appts arnt showing any risk, I see no harm. I started from about 13 weeks. I see it as spreading the cost over more pay days!! But do what feels right for you, if there’s a deal or sale on… get it while you can as long as your comfortable

I’ve tried to hold off on clothes until knowing the gender however currently 16 and a half weeks, we’ve sold all the furniture that was in our room that will now be the nursery and have the room empty and ready to paint etc so we’ve ordered the furniture as it’s the one big purchase we need to make and knew what we wanted and had the money from selling the furniture x

I bought baby clothes yesterday at 18 weeks, straight away after my fender scan!

Avatar

I held out until 14 weeks which is pretty good for me lol x

I've bought a fair few of the smaller items but waiting for black Friday sales to get more expensive and bigger bits. I didnt buy anything til after 12 weeks but I feel like I have to spread the costs and plan it out over remaining months as will be too stressful if left til last minute xx

I think you can start whenever you feel ready. I bought the large bits first, furniture that needs assembling and organising stuff in nursery, as later it will be more difficult for us to move around and you will have less energy. I also have little bits and bobs that friends gave us. Some clothes also came from our baby's cousins 💕

I'm the 17+2 like you and I can't get off vinted, loads of stuff on there still with tags on! Crazy. There's also a few shops that have wintery type clothes coming in, so I've picked up some bits. But I don't want to go OTT (just yet anyway lol) I'm also moving in December so can't buy big things at the moment, kinda grateful for that as I'm hoping for some boxing day sales 😇 x

Grab it cheap when and while you can! I’m almost 16 weeks and we’ve been hunting down the second hand bargains all summer. My theory at the moment is if I see it I’m grabbing it. Big purchases for us will come after 20 week scan though. 🙃

Young mum

Hi guys,

I’m just wondering if there’s any other young parents that are getting further into their pregnancy and like, genuinely just clocking that I’m gonna be responsible for a baby and I don’t know everything their is to know about baby’s I feel like I’m gonna be so useless and accidently be the worst mum in the world 🫣

Does anyone else feel like this? Or felt like this? I’m 19 and genuinely have so much anxiety about this now I’m 20 weeks lol

So annoyed, dog jumped on me :( now I’m anxious

I have a big dog and she NEVER jumps.. today I came home and my mum was with me visiting and my dog must have just got over whelmed and she jumped and ended up scratching my lower back,

with that I’ve bent backwards almost and stretched my lower belly and it didn’t hurt as such just felt like tha shock ligament pain but ofc I haven’t actually bent that far since being pregnant and now I just feel anxious really and just need some reassurance. It only happened about 15 mins ago and I have felt baby a little since

But why is there always something to worry about!😭
