Fed up today

I am so sorry to moan but I’m fed up AF today 😭😭

I’m 8 weeks today and I’ve had a constant, horrible headache for over two weeks now. I constantly feel sick if I don’t eat, and because of how much food I am eating I’ve put so much weight on already and I’m ashamed because I worked so hard to lose 5 stone. None of the food is as healthy as it should be and that makes me feel guilty that I’m harming my baby. If I move too quickly my vision blacks out and I get very light headed. I’m bloated, I’m gassy, I feel like I can’t be a good Mum to my five year old because I’m a big flump - and on top of all of that I feel awful moaning about it because we TTC for three years and this is my miracle IVF baby.

I feel like I’ve lost so much of who I was already. Before IVF I was running 10ks, enjoying the gym, going out for walks, and really enjoying working on myself. I can’t even stomach a 20 minute walk at the moment and I can’t get back into yoga. This pregnancy is so different to my son already and all anyone tells me is that it won’t last forever and it’ll all be worth it and all I wanna do is shout at them and tell them how hard it is. I’ve had spotting too which terrified me and I feel like I need to go for scans every week to keep my mind at rest 🤦🏻‍♀️

My husband is very understanding but I feel bloody useless and I’m just a bit fed up today 😂

Bless you, I feel this. I'm avoiding people and their well-meaning opinions. Yesterday my grandma told me how she loved all of her pregnancies and had no symptoms 😂 thanks for that!

They are all different but this part is really SO hard. My husband keeps asking me if I'm 'going to the gym today'. Might say yes and leave him with my toddler and go sit in Mcdonalds in workout clothes 🤔

I understand what you're going through huni. This is my 🌈 baby after 3 MCs and although I am very grateful to be pregnant, it is extremely difficult. I either have lots of symptoms and feel absolutely sh*t and have no motivation to do anything or I feel okay and have constant anxiety and wish the symptoms back. I'm 7 weeks today. The first trimester is a struggle! We've just got to get through it, it's survival mode hun, don't stress about what you're eating, you can only do what you can, eating is better than not eating. I'm hoping that when I reach 12 weeks things will feel better and the anxiety will lessen. Just keep doing what you can. Sending support 💕 also with your 5 year old, have a few movie days or order some chalk off Amazon and sit in the garden and get them to draw you lots of lovely pictures and tell them mummy is poorly. They'll want to help xx

Totally empathise. I’m a spin instructor and love CrossFit, normally full of energy and excitement for life. But I’ve been in bed for three weeks, feel sick as a dog, totally fed up and nearly punched my MlL when she told me to eat ginger biscuits before I got out of bed in the morning. Try to take the pressure off yourself, you are growing a human. My partner has a good analogy - being pregnant is a bit like wanting to go to New Zealand. You’re really excited to get to New Zealand (have the baby) but it’s totally normal to hate the 24 hour flight in economy (the pregnancy). Please moan away, I think it helps!
