Inductions ending in c section!

Mine did 🫠

I know 5 people over 2 years who’ve had inductions. All ending in c sections at nnuh. I know it’s not the hospital fault necessarily and probably just a coincidence but 🙃

Two days of induction, nothing changed with my cervix, quite strong tightenings over the two days. Ended in cat 3 (lowest) emergency c section.

Not me - I worried it would but balloon and gel worked well though it’s a waiting game

Not mine it worked perfectly fine and my baby was back to back so difficult Labour , I think the problem is that most people will talk and shout about bad experiences not the good ones x

I had hormone drip. I also had forceps, vacuum and then end in section. I know 4 other people in the last 3 weeks to have sections x

Mine didn’t end in c section but ended in episiotomy and forceps x

My waters naturally went but I didn’t contract properly so had to start induction 18 hours later, and after 2 days and getting 2 9cms they told me she was in a weird position that wouldn’t allow me to get to 10cm so I ended up in an emergency c section

Mine was more of an assisted induction as I was already in labour but stuck at 3cm
Was induced to move things along but worked :)

Not me, i had contractions and my waters broke over 24 hours I was only 2cm so I have had 4 hours hormone drip until i got to 10cm and pushed baby out without any issues or pain relief, some ladies run out of energy when it's time to push, or baby is too big or baby gets tired so they decide for section.

Mine did. Induced with 24hour pessary which fell out after about 13 hours with bloody show. I was 4cm sent to labour ward. Got to 6cm, waters broke but my little one had pood inside me. 10 hours later after gas&air, pethidine, epidural and 2 hormone drips, I was still stuck at 6cm and had to be rushed to theatre x

Not me, thought it was going to as babies heartbeat was dipping but had ventouse delivery instead, had the balloon induction x

Mine did but only because I got stuck at 6cm after 16.5 hours, the actual induction worked and I had my waters broken, the drip just didn’t work properly for me and wasn’t bringing contractions close enough together xx

Mine ended in emergency c section- traumatic!!!

I had an induction after my waters broke at 36+6. Was induced with gel and then put on the hormone drip later on. When it came to pushing baby became distressed and intervention was needed. I was VERY close to needing a c section but they decided to try forceps first, and thankfully that worked! But it was super close

Mine ended with c-section, 55 hour labour and no pain relief seemed to work so they had to put me under on general anaesthetic which was pretty devastating.
