Hello, my name is anxious!
My husband and I have been trying for almost a year. I had a large ovarian cyst removed last summer where they took half of my left ovary during the surgery as well. Since then, I’ve been worried we would have far more difficulty conceiving.
I tested Wednesday and almost had an out of body experience when these two lines popped up. It looks like I’m about 4 weeks and 6 days pregnant.
So now, apparently, you have to wait until you’re 8 weeks along to have the pregnancy confirmed with your doctor.
How the heck do you all manage the anticipation?

Congrats. And my doctor took me in as soon as I let them know I received a positive test. I guess some doctors do things differently
