Sitting in the back with baby

I prefer to drive. My husband sat in the back with our daughter until we had our second baby when our eldest was 4! He just said he liked chatting and playing in the back. It’s annoying now he’s in the front when she needs something and he has to reach round.

I stopped after her first car journey 😆

I’m still sitting in the back. She’s six months.

I always sit in the back. He’s nearly 6 months. Can’t imagine stopping soon 😂

I’m still sitting in the back and he’s just over 5 months - I’ll probably stop around 18 months

I prefer to drive and my partner always sits in the back, she's 5 months. I can't see it stopping anytime soon, it's just easier 🤣🤷‍♀️

Well i couldn’t really do this. My fella dosen’t drive so i’m the only driver. But because he’s at work all day i have no choice but to leave my little one in the back without anyone as that isn’t an option. Whenever my fella is with me yes he’ll sit in the back.
But majority of the time it’s just me and my baby X

Only if he’s unsettled (which is rare as he always falls asleep in the car) or I have a passenger. I drive us everywhere so he spends the time during the week when I take him places on his own in the back, he always just sleeps or looks out the window and if I needed to see to him I’d just pull over, even though this has never happened x

I stopped just before my daughter turned 1 and I had my 2nd on the way x

I only sat in the back on her drive home from the hospital when she was born, I have a mirror in the back so I can always see her x

If it’s short journey I’ll sit up front but if it’s longer or I’m hoping she’ll fall asleep I’ll sit in the back to keep an eye

With first baby, I sat in the back on the way home from hospital and that was it. We've now got two carseats in the back so I've never sat in the back with my second baby.

The only time I sat with LO was on the way home from hospital. Installed a mirror to keep eye on LO and we all been OK so far :)

I never have … not even on first journey home from hospital 🫣

The only time I ever have is when she’s needed feeding or been inconsolable because overtired.. x

After the first week really and I only went in the back because I wanted to look at her all the time
