Quitting to be a sahm

Has anyone been pretty high up at their job and then quit to be a sahm? I’m the director of a daycare and I’m just not loving it. But I’m also a people pleaser and I have so much guilt with wanting to quit. I currently get free childcare with my job and wouldn’t be able to afford it if I got a different job. So my options are to either quit and stay home or just keep my job. I guess my question is, how you do you get over feeling bad for quitting? I’ll feel like I’ll let everyone down.

You'll feel bad at first then you'll wake up and that guilt will wash away as soon as you see your little one smile at you when you come to fetch them in the morning. It'll be fine. And if it doesn't work out, just go back to work again. Your job can replace you but no one can replace you to your child. Your kids are only young once.

I’m a SAHM and I’m ready to get back to work, I say you have it good because you get to see your baby at work, maybe take a week off 1st to see if it’s really want you want to do
