I have adhd and the same name!!

I have suspected adhd. Waiting for my assessment

I’m trying to book an appointment at my gp as I feel I have it

@Rachel how did you go about this? Did you start with a gp ?

@sara I went to GP first and after seeing her she asked me to fill out a form which suggested I was high scoring for adhd. That went off to a funding panel where they asked me for more info. After that they agreed to fund my assessment and now I'm just waiting for an appointment with psych uk.

I think it depends where you live as to how your GP refers you though. I'm assuming my GP referred me to a private place (and that's why it went to a funding panel) because the waitlists for NHS are ridiculous in my area!
