Washing
What washing powder/tabs do you all use? Do you use fabric softener or anything else too?
What about stains, mainly food stains? My little boy gets so filthy, and lately, the washing machine hasn't been doing a good enough job getting rid of stains. Even with using vanish powder.
Or should I be doing it the old-fashioned way and soaking or washing by hand?

I use fairy non bio with softener and scent boosters. For stains I use dr Beckman stain devil. You use that and then put it in the wash and I’ve had great success with food stains where vanish didn’t work
I use vanish spray pre wash to remove stains or denture powder to place around the stains and suck it in the water then it removes
