Hello! I m after recomendations for books with simple story lines, please :) up until now, we pretty much only look at pictures in books and name them or make the animal sounds. I d like to introduce my LO to the concept of a story but don t think they re up to anything too complicated π

What about the "that's not my....' books, have simple sentences in and pictures/ sensory bits.

We love the hungry caterpillar x

Acorn Wood books are good x

Think they are from the Acorn Wood series?

My LO loves the "that's not my" range, lots of board books so that they can't tear them!
The lift the flap with the felt flaps are good because they can't rip them!!

We love the acorn wood books and the classic hungry caterpillar, each peach pear plum etc. I also read her slightly more complicated bedtime stories even though I'm aware she doesn't understand/follow but she seems to enjoy them especially if there's a rhyme/rhythm to it x
