Scar infected :(

Sorry for the blurry pic - I don’t really need to ask do I? This is definitely infected isn’t it? :( This wasn’t present when I had a check up last week and midwife said it was healing well. I think it’s literally just appeared overnight as I had no signs of oozing when cleaning it yesterday. Think the heat and sweating from my overhang has caused it to be honest. It doesn’t appear too open, just clearly oozing. I do also have a small opening at the end of the scar but I’m not actually too worried about that as it seems to be healing well.

I’ll ring my GP tomorrow to get it swabbed and get some antibiotics but in the meantime how can I better clean it and keep it dry? At the moment I just let water run over it and pat it dry, but my overhang is causing moisture, especially in this heatwave… I don’t have any panty liners or dressings that I could use to keep it dry - could I use a cotton wool pad, or how about a nursing pad?
