Moving to 2 bottles a day

For those who are on 2 bottles per day, did you increase the number of snacks throughout the day, in order to drop down to 2 bottles? My baby currently still has an afternoon bottle which I’m keen to drop but not sure how. Thanks!

I switched to snack and then bottle (well, breast) and he started to drink less and then I did snack and only gave milk if he asked for it. He only asked once and now he just has a snack x

Yes. We’ve just dropped down to 2 bottles and I’ve given a snack instead of the afternoon bottle. I actually didn’t do snacks on a day-to-day basis, only because I felt she ate well enough at lunch and dinner that she didn’t need any alongside her milk. She now goes to nursery 2 mornings per week and gets a morning snack there before lunch. Not sure if I’ll consistently give 2 snacks per day (morning and afternoon) but will judge it on how much or little she’s eaten x

I do cows milk in the morning before nap, he has breakfast around 8.15 then lunch at 12 so is fine without a snack then just milk. Then he has 'tea' at nursery which is a large snack like a small sandwich, mashed potato and cheese, pancake, veg sticks, cheese and crackers and always fruit. So then he sits with us for our evening meal about 6pm but I'm not overly conscious if he doesn't eat too much.

8am Breakfast
11am Bottle (6oz Cows/2oz Formula for now)
12.30pm Lunch
2.30pm Snack
5pm Dinner
7pm Bottle (6oz Cows/2oz formula for now)

We swapped the 2.30pm Bottle for a snack, usually something small like an oaty bar/Fruit etc 🩷
