What is the longest anyone has gone before testing positive? I'm curious as I'm now 34 days into my cycle (normally 28 29 days long). I monitor mine on the flo app. It says I'm 3 days late but I know I'm probably a few more days later than that as my periods are usually like clock work. I've done 2 tests one on the Monday and one yesterday and both say negative. I used the clear blue digital ones. Last time I was pregnant I waited 7 days but my cycles were 27 28 days then. I'm wondering if I'm going through a cycle change. Has this happened to anyone? I only had my first baby last year in July and am kinda hoping there's a change going on. I'm not on any contraceptive so yes its my own doing as nothing has agreed with me. But its rare I get intimate with my partner due to not having much time but hey I feel the odds are against me 🙃😅. Little rant over.

If you're already late, they should be pretty accurate. It's normal to have longer cycles while post partum. When did your cycles return? Are you still breastfeeding?

Im pregnant with my first, and I was having negative tests for a long time.. I was about 14 weeks at least before I even had a positive test. (Been told I am completely against the norm though so wouldn't go with my experience!)

Breast feeding stopped at 4 and half months and I think it was around 3 months after birth that my periods returned. And to be fair they was regular then as I waited to go back on the pill when I got my second period. That pill did not agree so I came off and the pill I used to be on I couldn't go back on to due to blood pressure issues. So it's been a good few months of not being on the pill. So this has thrown me. Other than slightly tender breasts I've no symptoms but then I had none with my first. But them tests are very accurate like you said. I don't want to go to gp yet as I think I need to wait longer if by 7 days no positive result (which I'm highly doubting at this rate 🤞) I'm hoping it's all panic for nothing 😅

that is really against the norm wow! It's strange how the body can trick you into negative test whilst being pregnant as usually you need to have high hcg levels
