Hi I know your supposed to giving whole milk at 12 months but I’m running low on formula until the 9th. Can I start transitioning him over to whole milk? My son is 11 months. When did everyone switch their babies over to milk?

I can't imagine it would be a problem. My 8 month old tends to steal my 2 year olds bottle and she hasn't had any issues with a little regular milk. I would say just make sure he has enough other nutrients to make up for it
Idk. I called his pediatrician and they flat out told me no don’t do it. Could cause bleeding in the intestines.

Oh wow I didn't know that.
neither did I 😬

I started to give my daughter whole milk at 8 months doctor said it was fine but everyone is different
when you transitioned did they take it right away and everything was okay? I’m always hearing people weaning them around 11 months so I thought to post this for more info. Seems most babies are fine idk why they scare us about intestinal bleeding

I transitioned my 2 year old at 10 months because of the formula shortage at the time. We live in a small town and couldn't find any. He did fine and was on whole milk and no bottles by 1 year.
