Has anyone else experienced Covid in pregnancy? I am 27 weeks pregnant and found out I had Covid yesterday I have all of the symptoms which include a high-temperature, a cough and breathlessness. To be completely honest when I rang the midwife, they weren’t very reassuring. They just told me to keep drinking and eating and keep my fluids up but I’m just worried about the baby.

I had it at about 20 weeks, I was ok. I took extra zinc and vitamin d with the guidance of a naturopath and some herbs. Also drank lot of water and rested a lot. There is quite a few women in the world who have had COVID in pregnancy now and been fine so HCPs are not so worried. It’s only if you struggle to breath or have any breathing difficulty or fever - that’s when you go to hospital x

I had covid at about 13 weeks. I had to take blood thinners so may be an idea to enquire about if they are needed.

Thanks lady’s , I have a high temp but it’s managed with paracetamol. I’m only breathless if I over do it and I’m mainly just feel like I’ve got a bad cold x

And I’m already on aspirin x

I had it at about 10 weeks. It was hellish as every time I coughed I threw up! Paracetamol was the main thing I was told to take and try to keep fluids up. I think it's one of those things you have to ride out unless you start to get really unwell with it. Hope you feel better soon 🤞
