Self care + baby care during period

So aunt Flo has visited for the first time since last march and ladies.... Ooft.

My question, what do you guys do to ACTUALLY feel better during this time when you have a baby to look after as well? I can't just lie on the sofa all day and wallow with a water bottle like I used to πŸ˜‚

Also first period Post Partum is like.... Well, wow. TMI but I forgot how much gunk comes out πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I used to suffer with a really heavy flo with bad cramps before pregnancy that lasted about 7 days, and found my first period after my LB arrived was horrendous so I sympathise!
But after that, they eased alot. I now hardly have any pain and its a light flo lasting about 3 or 4 days πŸ₯³
In terms of self care, could you possibly have a bubble bath once baby is asleep for the night? I also
I used to use the sticky heat pads for days when I couldn't just stay in bed with a hot water bottle and consume my body weight in chocolate 🀣
