Just had a scan at 37 weeks, he’s measuring little at 5lbs 6 and now being referred to Fetal Medicine Unit. Throughout the pregnancy he’s been measuring normal. Should I be worried or am I overthinking it all?

Remember the scans can be inaccurate for weight. They are doing this as a precaution and will work with you to make the rigjt decisions for delivery if needed. Best to be cautious than flippant 💖

Incredibly hard not to but I wouldn't worry too much, I was told the same and had extra scans, they are super cautious with babies, my little one came naturally just under 4 weeks early at 4:15, she is perfect now. They just want to make sure your little one is doing okay.

This is not always accurate, my sister was induced because they said the baby is above 4kg, and when she gave birth the baby was 3,400.
And it can be other way around, do not be worried.
They will get it checked.

As the others have said the scans aren't always accurate! We had a scan at 32wks and baby was measuring 10th percentile, we had another at 34wks and it was measuring 3rd percentile so really tiny, they then said they would wait for 36wk scan and make a plan to induce at 37wks. Got to the 36wk scan and baby was back at 10th percentile and they are happy for baby to stay in. All the consultant and doctors we've spoken to have said the middle scan was an anomaly, so it may be the same for you, try not to worry too much although I know that's easier said than done!! It's better to be over cautious than not!! X
