I say do Friday night clean night. Hubby and I do it together.

I do at least a load of laundry from start to finish every day, clean the kitchen and run the dish washer once a day. I also most days pick up the floor in every room which is usually just the living room and baby’s room that I need to pick up. I also try to pick at least one cleaning task to do on my days off. Like once a month I clean the toilets, or showers/baths. I also try to clean out the pantry and fridge when I do grocery shopping which is either every week or every other week. We also have a roomba to help with sweeping the house. This helps a ton.

It is hard. I do a basic cleaning each evening. This includes dusting, picking up clutter, and vacuuming/mopping rooms that need it.

Each morning, start a load of laundry and put it in dryer after you get home. Fold the clothes before going to bed. Doing a load each day keeps the laundry down so that you never have a huge amount to do.

On one of your days off, focus on doing a deep cleaning of one or two rooms. I like to group the bedrooms and bathrooms together. Instead of scrubbing the tub, you can get Wet and Forget weekly shower cleaner. I spray it on before work and let it sit while I work. Then I rinse.

Meals can be crockpot so that you don't have to worry about that too much. There are also quick 10 to 15 minute meals that you can find anywhere online.

I hope this helps.

Just do 1 or 2 things a day

Have you tried cycle-syncing ? It has worked for me for YEARS. No stress involved and things get done!
