Hey guys, I'm worried and frustrated at the moment. My LO is almost 16 months old and is unable to walk. She won't do it in a push walker, she'd just bend her knees and crawl instead.
She also can't talk. She hasn't even said any proper word yet. Just babbles, grunts and whines. She's had her recent hearing test and they were happy with the results.
I'm really worried it's autism because she doesn't respond to her name and tries to avoid eye contact sometimes.
Anyone on the same boat as me?

My daughter would do a couple of steps with the walker and then get on her knees and crawl and then one day after nursery just got up and walked perfectly with no warning đ¤ˇđźââď¸
If you're worried though, speak to the health visitor, they're there for help and reassurance! Xx

My LG is same she's 14 month on 11 and she's been showing alot of signs too so I contacted my hv and gp and she's got appointment for her hearing in a couple of weeks and she said if the hearing comes back normal then they'll take it from there and my gp has put me on waiting list for the paediatrician as well, the hv thinks she's also hypermobile as she's really flexible and that's why she's taking longer to walk and bare weight on her legs unassisted xx

My little one is 16 month on the 13th. Walks with our hand or Walker but not on his own. Doesnât say any words. Iâm not concerned as each baby develops differently and he was 6 weeks early. Havenât seen health visitor since January but got her next week.

Honestly⌠sheâll do it when sheâs ready. My LB didnât walk until
He was 14 months and then it was only a stumble! And then he ran.. itâs a confidence thing! Once they know.. itâs a go! Each babe is each to Their own. My brother didnât walk until he was 2. I walked at 10 months! Your babe may have already done other things :) sheâll get there
My LB canât talk yet.. he babbles constantly but nothing comprehensive! He may every now and again say âdaddyâ.. but itâs not justified. Stop stressing yourself with timelines and age milestones! She will reach things when sheâs ready. Just have fun learning with them! Reading, adapting and growing.
Extra-curriculaâs canât be diagnosed until at least 4 anyway.. if in fact there are any at all! So.. just take this time to let your babe find their own feet :).. youâve got this xx
