I'm currently 28 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby. My 1st was 6 (nearly 7) years ago, and preterm, born at 30 +1 weeks. In my last pregnancy I was smaller, and didn't think about food or exercise, my bump was also much smaller, however, my babies both measured either healthy or big! Anyway, during this pregnancy I got pregnant whilst with a high BMI, and have tried to control my diet, and have definitely remained active throughout. However, my bump is A LOT bigger this time round, and I'm struggling to even stand for 20-30 mins without feeling pain. I have been experiencing spotting, which I have visited hospital a number of times for, especially in the past few weeks, and with the anxieties of the nearing 30 weeks milestone! Anyway, with all that in mind, along with the fact that I now struggle to cross my legs or get off of the floor (added side note, when I am in awkward positions like squatting, I feel so much pressure between my legs, like I'm about to force the baby out by accident lol), I'm wondering what exercises I should do. I worry that walking or standing exercises like a cross trainer will affect the bleeding and maybe bring on my labour, I struggle with yoga now, the floor is just too low lol, and squatting positions scare me because of the pressure underneath me. Swimming is good I guess, but, I won't get a lot of time to swim, and I'm due in November, and I'm not getting in the pool if I'm cold! 🤦🏽♀️ I'm also torn between exercise and resting, given this is the final trimester and my body is clearly slowing down at a faster rate than my brain. Any advice? Will yoga really make my baby pop out 🤣 (I wouldn't mind a quick sneeze it out situation, closer to due date lol). General tips, advice, etc. All accepted 😊 Thanks in advance

What about chair based exercises

sounds good, do you have any examples?

I don’t sorry. You could try looking on YouTube for some. I use an on demand service and there are some chair based classes on there that made me think of it.

ah! OK, no worries, thank you for the suggestion, I never would have thought of it myself!
