Covid….

Hey everyone new here and looking for some advice.

My daughter tested positive for Covid on Monday and today I have tested positive.

I feel absolutely terrible and I also got my flu jag this morning.

I’m currently 21 + 5.

Do I need to call anyone etc I have no clue.

Thanks x

Following this because my mum and sister both have it and I’ve had close contact. I think from what I’ve read you need to let your midwife know so they can advise you on things to look out for. But I’m not 100% sure x

When I was pregnant last year I just let my midwife know and they put me on a virtual bay so a random midwife would check in with me every other day including over the weekends just to check I was feeling ok. I’ve heard this strain is awful so I hope you get better soon! Keep nice and hydrated and rest 🥰

Call you midwife unit :) it’s good to keep them informed just in case you need to go in and they can give you all the current advice

I ended going to the hospital to get me and the baby checked out. The baby was doing great. I barley had any symptoms. They’ll give you medicine to take for like birth defects or something but I didn’t take it at all and we are good to go because we would’ve ended up with symptoms from the medicine and feeling horrible.

I just rested , ate, and took walks for fresh air
