Heatwave and pregnancy

Same here. I never had problems coping with heat, I always enjoyed it! But this year I've been getting awful headaches qnd it made my sickness a lot worse.

Wet flannel on my chest when I sleep or over my head in the day. It’s not very flattering but it keeps me cool

I'm having to work still but the heat is definitely making my sickness worse and I the heat is getting me more than normal. I had to go for a lie down with the fan on full blast the other day

I’ve been the same I’m normally a sun worshipper and would love this weather but since being pregnant I can’t stand it and it makes me feel so I’ll, I’ve had to take the rest of this week off work as I nearly fainted yesterday and went really funny, I can manage to stay cooler at home, but it’s still so hard. My sickness was starting to get better but has definitely been worse again this week and I’ve had a few headaches because of it, was looking forward to autumn 😂

I know this sounds crazy, but if you get a few ice packs you can have a little cuddle with them, let a cold water bottle. It works really well for me to get me to sleep!

Sounds crazy but dog cooking matts from BnM. I put one under my feet one under m chest and one pillow level. Plus a fan aimed at me constantly. Works a treat. I also used to put one in my babies sleeping pod to keep them cool during heatwaves past.

I’ve been exactly the same… been sleeping with frozen veg under my head!

Yeah I’ve punched one of the dogs cooling mats and I have cool towels too for the dogs which I’ve also pinched to try keep me cool with a fan on full blast. My dogs are struggling with the heat too worse then normal but I’m like most of you who have commented a sun worshipper and never have an issue with it. Bring on winter (even though I hate it lol).
