Mosquito bites

Any recommendations. My 2 year old keeps getting mosquito bites . Iv used off a couple times and seems to not work . I just bought the bug sucker thing. And she doesn’t like that too much . But she’s scratching so hard at times it just turns into a scar/ scratch

Is dermaplast safe to use on a 2 year old?
My mom used to use that whenever we got mosquito bites and it would stop the intense itchiness.

Also, I recently read if you rub vanilla extract on the skin it works as a repellent without it being sticky or anything 🤔
