November holiday ☀️
Hello! We’ve had one hell of a stressful year and haven’t been able to get away yet. But we can finally book a last minute holiday ✈️ and can go the last week Oct/first week of Nov.
We went to Crete at a similar time last year and the weather just wasn’t great☔️Wondered if anyone can recommend a beach destination where we’ll actually get some heat ☀️☀️☀️ or realistically is that long haul?
And if so….has anyone done long haul with a toddler 👀

Cape Verde is nice most of the year and is a 5/6 hour flight
Caribbean is nice that time of year but that's long haul
Lanzarote is really nice. We booked the Flamingo beach hotel. TUI. It was amazing! They had so many kids activities and kids clubs. You can also leave your child with a kids group for 2 hours in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.
I was so impressed.
It's only 3 Star but it was fabulous!
We went IN April.
The weather was 19 - 22 degrees bit I got burned! It was actually so so hot!
4 hr flight.
We took a tablet, toys, lots of stickers, a magic water colouring book and snacks to keep her busy.
As above, we’ve done a few Canary Islands in October time (Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria) I don’t know if we’ve just been lucky, but the weather has been SO nice (high 20’s)
We always book hotels close to a beach, and it’s been so nice to escape for a couple of weeks of winter sun, especially as the flights are so short.
It’s also usually a bit cheaper than going other times of year!
Like others have said ive always gone to the canary islands at that time of year. I really like tenerife, if u pick there id recommended the south of the island. The north gets more cloud/rain and the beaches are all black sand/stone. The south ive always had temps of 25ish even going the first week dec xx
Those who have said the Canary Islands, exactly when did you go ? Plz x
I’ve done both Lanzarote and Fuerteventura in both August and October. Gran Canaria we also did in October.

I have been early October to Lanzarote and Gran Canaria and it was beautiful.
We usually do two holidays a year but though maybe just one this year so we can save up for a decent car. But now we are thinking maybe we should go late October early November but we aren’t sure how the weather will be x
erm mid/late October for both, I haven’t been in November though,
ive been to tenerife in sept, october and decemeber and the weather was nice every time. Ive also done lanzarote in october which was also nice x
Well.... Canary islands is 16-22 degrees in December so def warmer in October.
