I dno what to do , work has changed my job without any explanation, put me on a Job that's taking its toll on my back and feet. Not only that , it's opposite somone I reported last year for making me feel uncomfortable and following me about at work.
Refuse to move me or him somewhere else and when I complained about it was told that basically thers nothing þhey can do.
I've called in sick today , I just can't face going 😔

Awh I’m sorry, that sounds so difficult and a horrible environment to work in. Do they know that you’re pregnant?

Yep, they've known since I found out at 2-3 weeks . I feel like it's been done on purpose as daft as it sounds.
I broke my ribs at work 2 years ago and a year after doing it I put a claim in. I feel this might be the reason.
As I was damn good at my other job they just taken me off . I've had a week of hell this week 😔😔 I'm stuck there now till baby is born x

This is a really skeptical take but they might be trying to make you quit so they don’t have to pay you maternity leave. If you feel that might be the case, you could reach out the organisation pregnant then screwed. My friend had support from them because when she told her work she was pregnant, they put her down to part time hours.
For whatever reason though, I’m really sorry you’re having to go through this, so horrible of them x

Speak to HR.
It's against the Equality Act. Pregnancy is a protected characteristic and you could sue them. They'll soon begin to panic and bow down to you!

@Ellie yea that had also gone through my head , but I'm a stubborn bitch and no way will I quit. Not without a damn fight any ways ! 😤 they're literally going to have to sack me and I'll deal with the creepy guy in my own way !
@Jodie , I didn't want to go to HR just yet, as I know a few people in HR are close to the bosses in our department. So they're my last resort really. 🤔
Am I right in thinking they can't discipline me for having time off sick due to pregnancy? X

If you're telling them that your time off was due to a pregnancy related issue (sickness, etc) then no.

Maybe you should apply for another job elsewhere move on because stress at this time is. Or good for you or the baby

Work cannot permit you to do a job that is not safe for you or baby! Your not supposed to be on your feet for long amounts of time, they should at least do a risk assessment as soon as they found out you were to make sure your work place was safe for you, this being taken into account could be discrimination whilst your pregnant too! Speak to HR or plain and simple get signed off work sick darling , work isn’t worth your stress especially whilst growing a little human 💜xxxx

Unfortunately they don't have to take you off task because you're on your feet, they just have to give you a chair to use for when you get tired.
My job is on our feet for 10 hours a day, they did a risk assessment, gave me a chair and told me to ask someone when I need something heavy carried.

So I've had 2 risk assessment so far . It's nit possible to have a chair on the job they've now put me on as its on a raised gridded floor with not much room to move about. Yet the job I was taken off was on the ground with solid flooring.
As for getting a new job , it's not just that easy unfortunately, I am applying for jobs but given that I'm pregnant I can't see anyone taking me on
Also I can't just quit this job as I need the money. I need to save for my baby and for a house , so giving up my job isn't an option for me .
I have nothing . Was made homeless through no fault of mine and is an ongoing case with the police . I am band 1 on council website but they're in no rush to help me either.
I'm not so much annoyed at the job itself as I work with some fantastic guys that go out their way to help me . It's the fact I've been moved unnecessarily and opposite a guy I've already reported once and continues to make me feel uncomfortable. And when I asked for me or him to be

moved I was refused.
I stood in my bosses office and showed him on the cameras him constantly watching me, following me and sticking his fingers up at me and all he said was, " I'll have a word" ... he didn't... he sent the superviser to talk to him !! For me that wasnt good enough .
