Am I right to be annoyed?
So my MIL sometimes has my little one whilst me and my partner work.
I said to her little will be napping from this time, I can have her with with me while she sleeps, can you come at this time. MIL lives about half an hour away, so she’d get to ours around nap wake up.
She got here a good 40mins later, no messages and no sorry I’m later than I said.
I was like, I have to go work sorry! I think little has pooped and ran upstairs.
Good job I’m working from home today!

No lol it’s not her job to watch the little one. you can get a nanny. Sometimes she has stuff to do aswell. She’s being nice to accept to help you most MILs don’t do that
If she agreed to be there at a certain time and was late knowing you needed to get to work, then yes you have a right to be annoyed. I don't care if someone is doing you a favour, if you agree to help then do it right or don't agree to it.
She should have told you she was going to be late, regardless if whether it was a favour or not you were still expecting her at a certain time
