When to ring triage?

Does anyone else's baby's have quiet days? I feel like I have hardly felt her move at all today or they have only been tiny kicks, could this be due to her position?

It’s always best to go and get checked - I’ve been in a few times to be monitored and it’s never a bother to triage - they’d rather see you a thousand times and everything be okay than you hold off that one time you should have been checked!

My baby deffo has days quieter than others, also I have anterior placenta so it's harder to feel her in certain positions. But midwife always says if you're wondering whether to ring triage for reduced movements then you should already be on the phone to them. X

Thankyou, and is there a specific time you can go, as if I ring and have to go in I will be taking shuttle bus from my local hospital which I don't mind but thinking about getting back?

Triage is 24 hours :)

They say reduced movements but that can also be a change in movements. You’ll feel better once you call

I am 35 weeks pregnant and was up at triage last week because I hadn't felt him in his pattern that is normal for him. As soon as we got there and the monitor was on he moved around once a minute so 38 times in 40 minutes. They were lovely about it because I felt silly but it meant I could go home and sleep and relax. That's part of their job so definitely follow your gut. She said 99.9% of people she sees their babies are absolutely fine so go and get checked and you'll feel much calmer x

Definitely, I'll give them a ring now x

I went in for reduced movements 2 days ago and they kept me in overnight to monitor. They only let me go once I was satisfied with baby movements. We know them best so always best to go in if u feel theyve changed especially at this stage. For me I think because she's head down now I feel her differently. Also because I have insomnia now I think she's completely changed her sleep routine too

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Braxton hicks

I’m currently 34 weeks and have been experiencing braxton hicks for the past few weeks however have been having cramps almost like very strong period cramps In my lower stomach. I’ve mentioned this to my midwife and she only really asked if I’d been keeping hydrated and taking my vitamins which I am but didn’t really proceed to tell me if this was normal or related to braxton hicks also, has anyone else experienced this?

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!

Little girl turning herself sideways in next to me

My little girl tonight, has spun herself so she is lying sideways in her next to me, making me panic!

Is this normal at 4.5 months, do I just lie her back normally/vertically?
