Okay, so. Between two gentlemen I conceived a beautiful little girl. Unfortunately I had just went through a breakup with one of them and tried to move on quickly to another. Things went a little south and got complicated, with cheating etc so then I cheated back. Anyway, coming down to brass taxes here.
This all took place in September of 2022.
I can't remember the exact days I slept with Guy B.
I had sex with Guy A on Sept 3rd in the evening/going into the morning of Sept 4th.
I wasn't following ovulation the entire time.
I randomly decided to take ovulation tests from the 12th to the 14th and they showed a line as dark as if not darker than the other line. So I assumed that was when I ovulated. Because I got my first positive urine pregnancy test on the 22nd. Based on the ovulation tests looking positive, it's more likely Guy B is the father. Correct? Because for Guy A to be the father I would have had to have ovulated by Sept 8th at the latest for any of Guy A's sperm to be present at the time of ovulation. My hcg was first tested at Sept 26th and it was 134 that day.
So, opinions? Or are ovulation tests not reliable since I wasn't tracking the whole cycle? So do I have to disregard that bit of information?
My due date was supposed to be June 5th based on info I gave them and this stayed pretty consistent through the pregnancy. Which would have meant I'd conceived on Sept 12th and that was the first positive ovulation test that I had recorded. So, what's the general consensus here?
Should I still have to get a DNA paternity test done or is it safe to say that Guy B is the dad?

Get a test. You can never be sure. I went through the same thing almost around the same time as you. After my daughter was born I thought for sure she was 100% Guy B who was the father of my two year old because my two year old and her looked identical! I had guy A tested first just to rule him out and the test came back she’s his. All I’m saying is don’t try to figure it out on your own when it can be incorrect.

I’d say Guy A you would have conceived by the 8th or 9th Sept.
I’m not sure how accurate the ovulation tests would be but I would still get a DNA test done. I would start with just Guy B first and if it’s negative I would ask Guy A to get one done.
I think it’s likely to be Guy Bs child. If he comes back negative I would want to be 100% sure it’s Guy As baby encase the first test was wrong.
@Melissa If Guy A refuses to get tested is it best to have it court ordered? Guy B is listed on my daughter's birth certificate already as he agreed to that despite knowing it was possible she could be Guy A's. But he's just now bringing it up saying if we were to break up he doesn't want to be paying child support for a child that isn't his and that's understandable. But I'm in a pickle because I'm not sure how to light a fire under Guy A's butt aside from going through the court. Guy A already has to owe child support for his son via another woman and I wasn't wanting to put more child support on him, but I'm not sure if the court would just allow me to do paternity just to establish it for no other reason but to know for sure.
Another detail: Guy A was drunk when we slept together and when he's drunk he doesn't "finish". Does that officially rule him out? I don't know if that even qualifies as the pull out method because he wouldn't even be close to finishing.

Don’t assume anything. If Guy A refuses to get tested then yes, have it court ordered. Your child deserves the right to know who their biological father is on their birth certificate and it not be based on guesswork.
Also it doesn’t matter whether the guy was drunk or not, pre-cum would have still been present when you had sex even if he didn’t finish. All it takes is one sperm.
Ovulation tests are not an exact science, your egg may have dropped later in the cycle.
Regardless of how much child support Guy A owes, if he’s created another child, then tough shit for him. Perhaps he will think to use protection next time. It’s not your problem basically and he needs to man up/pay up if the child is his.

I went through my local child support office. I let them know I was just trying to establish paternity. They made me go through the whole process but I didn’t enforce an actual child support order and you can close it whenever you want to.

Yes you can pregnant from pre-cum.
Also If guy A is the father do not let him get away without paying child support just because he has another child. I think you might struggle without the money in this current economic situation.

You could test guy B first to see if he is the father or not and if it comes back negative then you could go through the hassle of getting a court order for guy A.
@Shauna I think I'm also a little scared to do Guy B first because we've been seeing each other and if he isn't then he's going to leave. Which is going to leave her without a father. Because I know Guy A won't be involved at all. He's been a deadbeat for his son that I was blind to when we were together since I have a tendency to see good in people where there isn't any.
Guy A agreed to get tested if I do discreet testing for personal use not legal use. Honestly this seems like the least complicated option for me and the least dramatic. So I think it's what's for the best. So that's what we're going to do.
