False alarm 40weeks 3 days

Had a sweep yesterday and about midnight I started having contractions 5 min apart for an hour so decided to head to the hospital. When I get there, contractions had slowed down to about 10 min aparts and still 2cm dilated 😭 so got sent home. Hoping she comes soon I’m sad really thought it was baby time 😩 this is hard

My baby does the exact same thing. I’ll think it’s go time and she’s like “sike”🥰

Torture😭

I also heard that the light and monitors in the hospital can unconsciously make your body feel unsafe so labor slows way down. So I know the waiting part sucks and I haven’t even experienced it yet but if you can wait until they get really close depending on your distance to the hospital, then your body may feel all ready. Best of luck mama and hope it goes well!!

this totally makes sense. They also didn’t let my partner in with me while I was getting checked and It made me more uneasy and nervous plus I had a male
Doctor as well😭 and really would’ve felt more comfortable with a woman. Thank you 🙏🏻

Is this normal??

I’m 29 weeks pregnant and having really aching legs and they’re all lumpy and swollen. Above the knee and behind the knee . Should I be worried ? My legs have never looked like this up until a few days ago. ??

Would you bring 9 week old to a family party of 35+ people?

These are also people who will want to pass the baby around and get a turn to hold him. He just got his 2 month shots two days ago

Anyone else experiencing this?

Gave birth (vagina) 5 days ago and yesterday morning and this morning getting lot of pain in my right bottom side and lower back

Exercise 6 weeks after c section

What movement did people start to introduce? I won’t do anything too vigorous until I’ve seen the pelvic physio as I don’t want to compromise anything that may have been extremely weakened through pregnancy! But just wondering what types of classes/movement people started off with?
