Telling family

Hiya, random question. Has anyone else waited to tell family and now stressing about telling them? I’m 14 weeks today. I’ve had two miscarriages and haven’t wanted anyone to know as didn’t want to get my hopes up too much but now feel it’s the right time to tell family and friends. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As hard as it is, try not to stress about it! You have a good reason you’ve kept it to yourself and your feelings come before anyone else’s😊 If they’re happy for you, they’ll be happy for you either way, even if you waited to tell them Xx

i found i went the other way and wanted to tell people sooner, experiencing a loss can be so hard. everyone deals with that differently and should respect how and when you want to share your news. i totally agree with what kelcey said above, your feelings come first and im sure your family and friends will be over the moon for you. congratulations ☺️

This is your pregnancy, share the news when you're ready. Your family and friends would respect your decision and be happy for you regardless 💕

Thanks lovelies. Yeah I’ve had a horrid year and although at the very beginning when I miscarried family was supportive so I went back to get over it basically. Didn’t even tell them the second time I had one, which occurred when I got out of an abusive relationship. This isn’t my exs baby, it’s another guys I was seeing. Completely unexpected and he don’t want anything to do with it. Which is fine, but I’m happy to be a single mummy as all I’ve ever wanted was to be a mum.
Thank you again for your advice. Xx

Im 12 weeks still not told my mum and dad because i know they are going to go mad and be judgemental as im pregnant with number 7. I am 43 next week. 🙈🙈

Yeah this is my issue of my family being judgemental you’d think they’d be happy as first grandchild but I know they won’t be. Rather not have to deal with them.

This will be number 14 for my parents, but they really don’t see my kids and they make it so obvious who their favourite is. Can’t be doing with it.

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
