Crying whilst feeding

Yes my little one is doing this atm. Following this as wanting to know how to help x

mamia, she's been a nightmare this week every evening around 6ish she just screams for ages as well. How old is your LO? X

She is 4 weeks old, for the last week has been crying most of the time she is awake but sleeps a lot of the day and good sleeper at night. Crying when feeding is awful and very hard as she is so unsettled x

My little one is doing that when he is constipated or has trapped wind . He will suddenly cry ,get all red and fighting the bottle but wanting to feed at the same time 😅also bringing the legs up and makes grunting sounds,so what I do is I give him a tummy massage before next feed and when he starts feeding because of the warm milk he will get relaxed and realise everything xx

This sounds typical of colic especially if they cry at similar times every day usually tea time!! And crying whilst being fed would suggest it too , you can get different bottles / formula to help but 40% of babies get it and you just have to ride it out , it eases from 8 weeks Iv heard. Also when making bottles don’t shake them to mix them as this just fills it with air bubbles stir it using a sterilised spoon xx

My baby does this when he has trapped wind. Trying winding them more often during the feed. Also we came off Kendamil as it was too creamy and thick, gave my little one a terrible stomach and wind problems. X

I think the heat isn’t helping as my baby is more wingey more than usual. Also could be wind. Mine has aptamil and is nearly 6 weeks old x
