Is anyone else going through the feelings of relationship turn roommate situation? Before I was pregnant we had an apartment and slept in the same bed. We bought a house in my first trimester and when I entered my second trimester (I guess I snore now), we hardly ever sleep in the same room anymore. He decided that he sleeps in the guest room, some weekends he would sleep with me. But overall we used to have sex everyday, sometimes multiple times a day, now we have sex maybe once a month MAYBE. I’ve been struggling with body positivity, being that i am constantly swollen and big. I have tried to talk to him and he isn’t much of a communicator. I just feel like I am failing to keep him interested in me and I cannot do anything to fix it. Advise is def appreciated!

Have you asked him hun? My other half struggled having sex when I was pregnant as he found it wierd. Especially as I was getting bigger. It freaked him out a bit so we had sex a lot less. We also slept in separate rooms for a while due to snoring etc. Our LO is now 20 months and we are back to 'normal' although a very different normal. Did he tell you that you snore and that is why he is in the guest room? If so I do understand because my husband snores like a train and sometimes it is nice to have the quiet in another room. Just remember this situation is probably temporary and everything does change when you become pregnant however you have to talk to each other and be understanding of each others feelings without feeling judged. If he loves you there should be no judgement. Maybe ask him what he needs from you (if anything) and see what he says. My husband wanted more quality time on our own and together with friends after the baby was born which I never would have guessed had I not asked him. Xxx
Yes, we’ve talked about it-but sleeping in different rooms is foreign to me. We never slept apart in our relationship until the second trimester. But it’s hard because now we don’t have intimate time anymore (cuddling, sex, just closeness). He works all day, goes to the gym, and comes home around 6pm, so I get to see him for about 4 hours Monday-Friday and during that time we have a kiss here or there. I’ve mentioned the lack of intimacy or love in general that I feel, but he says he loves me and I’m not alone but idk I feel very lonely. -Thank you for your thoughtful words! 💝

A lot of couples sleep apart so I wouldn't take that as a bad thing necessarily. Things do change in a relationship. I think one of your love languages must be physical touch. He may not have the same love language and be happy just plodding along. Ask him what makes him feel loved and see what he says. It may help you understand him a bit better. Xxx
Thank you for your kind advise!
