During the day my baby doesn't take the bottle often. She gets distracted easily. So I offer it to her at night. When she's asleep. She drinks like 3 bottles through out the night. And 4 through the day, plus her 2 solid meals.

Are you feeding 2 big bottles or many smaller bottles? At 8 months baby should be around 5 bottles, probably averaging 6 oz each. Space them out differently maybe. And add more solids.

I would consult a pediatrician because for the first year a child's life formula or breastmilk NOT food is how they get everything they need.
Solids are introduced for developmental reasons and exploration. It helps their cognitive skills, fine motor, hand-eye coordination and jaw and tongue muscles which helps with speech development.
Don't change his bottles without talking to a GP or Paed.
Perhaps you can give the milk in a different way; on cereal, in a different bottle, make a smoothie? Etc
Good luck 🙃

Alternatively, switch up when you give him food.
So say; solids around lunch time only. Or a small amount for morning and afternoon tea and that's it. Or just dinner.
I do highly recommend talking to a professional before doing anything though.
