Has anyone been offered the flu and covid vaccine booster? Not sure what to do- had an email from GP saying I'm eligible but midwives havent told me this is necessary

When you're pregnant your immune system is lower and you're more at risk of becoming unwell or having complications with flu/covid, so the NHS counts pregnant women as being in an 'at risk group' and so eligible for a free jab. You might also pass on some antibodies to baby by having the vaccine.
The only injection that benefits the baby is the wooping cough vaccine. I said no to the flu and covid
I’m having the flu because it have it every year and got it booked in in a few weeks but no thank you to the covid booster - not enough research still on it for me. But each to their own 😊 x

I’m having flu this sat but decided not to have Covid vaccine x
Midwife did say I will be offered but it’s personal choice. I’ve never had the flu vaccine so I won’t be having.
