No advice unfortunately but I'm in exactly the same boat. Mine is awful 😭
I knew what foods were alright / what to avoid before pregnancy but now everything seems to cause a flare up. I'm in agony most days 😬 hope someone replies with some advice for both our sakes 😂😭 x

I'm exactly the same, really suffering and so uncomfortable every evening! My belly feels so full and tight or I can stop burping and the rest! It's known to get worse during pregnancy 😵‍💫

No advice I'm afraid but I feel the same way :( , I have ibs-c and use a stool in the bathroom.

Same, the bloat seems extra worse now. Just still avoiding foods that trigger me (any sugar😞), gentle walks after any meals and yoga. Smaller meals seems to help and trying to eat very slowly,/chew lots. I used to use a hot water bottle for pain relief but can't do that anymore 😞second the stool in the bathroom though, I miss mine whenever I'm away 😂 I did the nerva hypnotherapy course for ibs and it really helped me which was a great surprise! I still get the symptoms but feel I can manage them better and stop them getting really bad in some cases.

My doctor gave me a low dose of co-codamol and some peppermint oil tablets for mine for when I need it!😃 I find using a stool or step whilst going helps the movement a lot and makes it pass much quicker though!😀 x

Yup in the same boat. I'm 22 weeks now and still haven't felt baby move, but because my IBS makes the whole of my belly bubble, I can't tell if it's IBS or baby movements!
Doctor said I could take buscopan but I'm not taking any meds just in case x

Buscopan is ok as is gaviscon. When having a movement I place something behind my back and Have a stool to put feet on. I also run my wrist under cold water as I tend to pass out and it helps to distract and control my breathing. I also have to put a cold flannel as there is so much pain around my C-section scar area. My son was singing outside of the door to help distract me from pain also x

@Vicki, my consultant, said buscopan is not usually recommended. However, it has let me take it, as the benefits outweigh the risks. X

Sorry you’re feeling the same😢
Yes, me too!! And a bit tmi but when I need the loo, I’m finding I have to go urgently! So horrible.
Oh bless you. Hope you feel better soon x

Hi Ladies,
My GP prescribed me a low dose of codeine. I am not to take this daily, only when absolutely necessary. So if you are struggling with the pain, at least you know you could get codeine if needed 😊

@Gabby, my midwife said codeine is fine, but only really for short-term.
