Gallstones or Gas ?

Since Friday I’ve been in so much pain . Right side under my rib cages at first I thought it was bad gas , I took gas X that didn’t work it became so unbearable I went to the nearest ER . They were no help and sent me home still in pain . Fast foward to last night omg it was so horrible !! I couldn’t even sleep so I decided to call my OB GYN this morning and she had me take Pepcid Extra Strength and she told me if that doesn’t work it might be something going on with my gallbladder & I might need to remove it . The whole right side is sensitive to touch , I’m constantly burping , breathing in too deep hurts . Did any ladies experience this . Currently On my way! To the ER againnnn!! 😩

This could be a sign of preeclampsia I’m so confused on why you were sent home wow !

I did! I was told it was a "sludgy" gallbladder and I was put on a low fat diet. They said the gallbladder works harder during pregnancy so the regular liquid it let's out can get thick and it trying to release it is what the pain is from. I've had no symptoms since switching to a low fat diet. My pain was so severe it shot up my back and I thought I was in preterm labor.

However, my er waited until the pain was gone before they sent me home. They gave me an antacid while I was there and had me wait. I have heard it's not uncommon to have to have your gallbladder removed during pregnancy.

oh god. I had a huge gallbladder issue about 8 yrs ago that made me have bouts of diarrhea and lots of pain there. Gallbladder was inflammed like a ballooon and had alot of scars tissue. Fixed itself magically but im having pains again now pregnant similar to it. I have an appt Thursday so we shall see. I want to ask ob to check billirubin levels. I check my bp often cuz preeclamp runs im my family.

If it happens right before a bowel movement or right after you eat could be digestive related too. Also many possibilities. Of you get a chance, ask for them to check ur gallbladder and billirubin levels.
