Baby climbing on sofa
Please no judgement, my baby is 11 and a half months and has learnt to climb onto our sofa, the whole room is baby proof to a degree so if I nip for a wee she is safe. However now she’s learnt to climb on the sofa, I’m terrified she will accidentally fall off. We’ve been teaching her to come down feet first and “reverse off” to make it safe however she’s not doing this consistently, so I’m concerned if I just go for a wee she may forget to come down feet first and hurt herself. Any tips? I’ve put the thickest softest rug down too so make it a soft landing JUST INCASE but I’m still paranoid.

I just pop my sofa cushions on the floor so when my little girl charges down - head first 😅 - she has a soft landing!
I have the same problem, I always take her to her bed or strap her in her pram or her feeding chair as she's just so quick.
My son quite quickly learnt to go feet first but tbh he has still had an accident and toppled off. If he's in a silly/excited mood I do put pillows on the floor to protect him but most of the time he's good with it
At first I was cautious but now I let him do it. He climbs all the way to the top and sits looking out the window. He’s fallen a few times but now he’s lesrnt how to get safely by learning the hard way. We put a camera in the lounge so if I have to go upstairs I can watch him on my phone and say NO through it or watch if he did fall I know what he landed on
