Group B Strep Positive
I had the swab done last week and the results came that I'm positive. :(
I'm having a schedule csection anyways, but it is good to know in case I get into labor or my water breaks.
Have any of you tested positive?

I was negative with my first, positive with my second. Doesn't really matter, just got IV antibiotics during labor to protect baby. I get tested next week for this pregnancy.
Took my test today won’t know results yet but my midwife went over it again, just means they’re now aware of it for when water breaks so they can administer antibiotics
It’s ok. A lot of women get it. You’ll get an antibiotic through your IV when you go into labor. I was positive with my first. There’s really nothing to worry about
My mom was positive with all 3 pregnancies just got antibiotics and everything went really well
I was positive with my son. Yes, it's good for them to have in your record for IV if labor were to spontaneously occur first.
