Giving baby water

i started at 4 months, just give them cooled down boiled water and they’ve been fine x

I have - I just use tap water since 6 months as nct website said it’s fine I recall.

how often do you give water?

I give a bit during weaning and when it was super hot. Not near bedtime though because it fills my daughter up.

I was going to say though - my daughter is exclusively formula fed and she gets a lot of water during the day anyway from bottles. I don’t particularly notice she’s thirsty except maybe a bit during the hot spell we’ve just had - but it does help to wash down the peas etc and I’m giving her a trainer cup which she likes.

Yes I started at 6 months with just tap water, she has a beaker and a bottle with a straw and she thinks it's super fun to play with them! At first she was just messing about spitting the water out but two weeks in and she's drinking it now. Only a little bit when she's in her high chair as I don't want her milk intake to drop x

What sippy cups do you recommend for water? Is filtered tap water ok?

I was looking into the mam one I don’t know how good it is tho as I’ve not tried yet xx
