Implant
So I got the implant about a week before my period was due and I have had no period systems at all (6 days late going by my cycle). I was under the impression that the implant takes a week or so to start working so I was expecting my period to come as normal 😳 anyone able to tell me if I’m being dramatic or if I could be pregnant and should take a test asap 😅

Aren't they supposed to make sure you're not pregnant before putting it in?
It might just be your body adjusting to the hormones, they say be careful for 7 days because the effectiveness is lesser while the hormones adjust, but it still releases hormones from when it is put in
If I were you I'd do a test just to put your mind at ease xx
Did they not ask you if there was any chance you could be pregnant before putting it in? Or did you not allow for the 7 days? The first implant I had I didn't have a period for 3 years, the second one I had a regular cycle. I would do a test if there's even a slight chance.
thank you 😅 she made it seem like I’d be waiting for the hormones to kick in so I just wasn’t sure why I wouldn’t just have my period anyway
she asked for my cycle dates and I told her and she said alright so there’s no chance you could be pregnant then. I was like well I hope not 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve been very careful as I don’t want another child anytime soon. I just feel like she wanted to get me out quickly as I took my LB with me and she wasn’t very impressed 😅
