I found a cat with an injury. I’m going to take it to the vet. He’s very sweet. It’s a horrible injury I live close extremely close to woods. I’m taking him to the vet but anyone have any idea what happen to this poor baby

Looks like a bite, dog or fox.
Is he distressed? Is he being territorial? My boy got bit by a fox and was patrolling the house like a crazy thing. That looks big though, do you have dog walkers? Xx
We have coyotes in the woods right behind my house I’m wondering if that’s what got him. The pictures do it no justice sadly it looks way worse in person. We also have hawks I didn’t know if that was a possibility 🤷♀️
I think it almost looks like puncture wounds too

Lots of sympathy and cuddles. Looks like he had a fight for sure, it’s curved like a bite mark x
